there is some new information about disk restoring
The mp3 disk is clean and perfect, all mp3 were tested ok! So that is GREAT news :) The SQL disk is .. really broken. They are trying to move magnetic parts to another system in a white room to retrieve all data.
I will have more news at the end of the week.

With your help, the HDs will be sent to the doctor using a private transporter tomorrow :) I'm crossing my fingers like hell.
I'm hoping to have an answer about recovery chances at the beginning of the next week.
By the way, the Nectarine Revival is in Progress.
Peach has been selected to think about a new 'clear and clean' web interface. For now 2 coders have been selected to work on the new engine.
I contacted Scamp about his hosting offer and some facebook friends offered their help too.
We need more coders PHP/AJAX, maybe specialized ones. Feel free to sign up :)

Between 290 and 390 euros per disk from recovea.com (and 64 euros per disk to send them)
This company is ALMOST near Lyon (100 km), so maybe it's less expensive to take my car.

I received several mails about why not using an undelete software to recover files on the server HD.
First, i don't want to play with data collected by others over the course of 8,5 years. I tried several software packages before and they didn't recover everything very well (especially the mp3 files). Fixing 10 files is ok, but more than 20000 ... i don't wanna try!
Then, as i already explained, my HOME HD crashed (the one with the july .sql file) and it doesn't work at all (it's not only an undeleted).
I'm sure that you will understand that I don't want to play with the Nectarine Server data and that I need to give it to professionnals. I admit, it's expensive. I know, and I want to thank everyone who contributes to the Chipin donation, and I'm sure it's the best way to recover everything.
I hope you understand...

First i need to check 2 hd.
The server one (250 GB) could not contains the mysql datas as they were in a idata mysql file and this file contains some other websites datas i hosted. So the file moved after the database deletion. But we can restore the 64 Gb of mp3 as i saw it with some utilities. But i prefer to ask a company to restore everything. That the biggest part of Nectarine and it will be a shame to lose everything just coz i wanted to use a freeware software ...
The second HD is mine, which crashed last week end. I bought a new one so i don't need money for it ;) I just need money to restore the MYSQL .SQL files on it (Two backup from august and july).
Here is the estimate of the price.
So ...
64+320+200+64 = 648 euros 7 % of Paypal taxes when you donate = 45,38 euros
As Chipin is in $, the exchange rate for paypal right now is
1$ = 0,688 €
So we need (648+45,38) * (1 / 0,688) = 1007 $ exactly
I'm waiting for the 2nd and the 3rd Estimate at the beginning of next week.
