Restoring the HD! Thanks!!!

Second estimate price

Here is the second estimate of the price coming from a big professional company.

  • To send 2 HD to the company : 32 € x 2
  • Partition n°2 of DISK#1 with 100 % files testing : 400 €
  • Partition n°2 of DISK#2 with 100 % files testing : 400 €
  • Price to send 2 HD to me again : 32 € x 2

3 weeks delay.

So ... (exchange rate changed)

64+400+400+64 = 928 euros 7 % of Paypal taxes when you donate = 64,96 euros

So we need (928+64,96) * (1 / 0,645) = 1539 $ exactly

I'm waiting for the last estimate (the next one will be the last as they have the 2 disks on place).

Looking for SERVER & HOSTING

I have some contacts about powerful unix hosting but for the streaming source engine (playlist rotation, dabatase, jingles etc ..) i need a Win32 server.

More power = More dedicated & differents streams

I know the requirements are high. Here in France i could have the first for 50 € / months (KIMSUFFI) and the second one for 65 € months (SUPER PLAN)

Could you find cheaper offers?

RIP Nectarine

Using a security hole in a multipage class used in Nectarine, a script Kiddie deleted the whole Nectarine database.

In less than one hour, 8 years of work were deleted including php sources, Streaming applications, Music directories (64 GB) and of course, the Mysql DB.

The attack was strong.

Even if the DB account stolen using the security hole had no drop/truncate rights. the Mysql DB was deleted. All Debian logs were deleted at the same time. The Debian root password was changed. The music directory was deleted.
